Well, excellent news as OFCOM have cleared the BBC, ruling that JS:TO included a total of zero breaches of its programme code.

I spoke too soon. ITV1 are launching Celebrity Love Island next week.

For now, though, the BBC are also covering the dismal failure of Celebrity Wrestling and the potential return of The Krypton Factor.

Kennedy’s dog cull May 10

A very bizarre story, via Richard Allan, being put about by Sheffield Tories in the election. Their claim was, roughly, “Vote LibDem and your dog will be eaten by a Scotsman.”

Celebrity Wrestling axed May 10

Doctor Who has defeated its weakest enemy by knocking out ITV1’s Celebrity Wrestling. At one point, IIRC, ITV’s Saturday schedule had three programmes in a row whose titles began “Celebrity…” I hope ITV1 have got the message. Perhaps some drama on a Saturday night? Morse used to do OK, didn’t it?
