  3. You missed the most famous Belgian of them all, Audrey Hepburn. Yes, during the four years I lived there I played the “name ten famous Belgians” game often. Bizarrely the Belgians were really bad at it as they refused to accept that Jean Claude Van Damme was famous, and would nearly always name the Prime Minister and a bloke called Dirk Frimout who was the first Belgian in space, and would never understand that nobody outside of Belgium would have ever heard of them.
